Janet Truncale is the Regional Managing Partner of the EY Americas Financial Services Organization. In this role, she leads a diverse team of more than 14,000 professionals across 90 offices.

Throughout her three-decade career in the global financial services industry, Janet has provided assurance and consulting services to leading Fortune 500 companies and worked with boards, audit committees and senior management to resolve complex business issues.

Janet received her BSE from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and she earned her MBA from Columbia University. She is a certified public accountant in New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

How Janet is building a better working world

In her work with clients, Janet is helping financial institutions inspire trust and support their customers in achieving their financial goals, contributing to the growth and security of the global economy.

Outside of EY, Janet serves as the Board Chair for Women’s World Banking, a global nonprofit devoted to giving more low-income women access to critical financial tools. She is also on the Board of Directors of UNICEF USA, an organization that defends the rights of children and young people globally, helping them fulfill their potential from early childhood through adolescence. Additionally, Janet serves as a managing trustee for Liberty Science Center, a not-for-profit learning center dedicated to inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Janet has received the Profiles in Diversity Journal Women Worth Watching Award and was named in the Crain’s New York Business Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting list (2019 and 2021).
